I believe that Education is a gift to kids and every person in this planet. We live in a Nation that believes in education and in education being a Human Right. Therefore, it is my responsibility as a teacher to give that right to my students.

 

The mind of a child is such that can be molded easily and as a Dual Language teacher I believe that every child can learn a second language when immersed into it in the classroom setting.  

 

I want students to know that education is a powerful weapon in life. I want them to know the importance of educating themselves. In my classroom my goal is to give children an education that is joyful, engaging, and meaningful. I believe in giving students the opportunity to have new experiences. Whether it be done with real life experiments,  hands on activities, field trips or bringing outside help to do so.

 

It is my goal to find out every students' best way of learning by varying my teaching style and through observation. I try to teach to the visual, auditory, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, logical and linguistic styles of learning.

 

I want students to know that education is a gift you give yourself as an adult if you choose to seek it and as a child they should value it.  I tell my students that we are students for life, that everyone learns something new everyday regardless of age or mental ability.

 

My goal for students leaving my classroom is that every student believe in themselves and their ability to learn.  For students to go and be good citizens in society, to be helpful and kind to others, to know they can do good and make a difference in this world.
